Brief Synopsis:

The Salt Path tells the true story of Raynor and Moth Winn, a couple who have lost their home and their savings and who, in the face of homelessness, decide to walk the 630 mile South West Coastal Path carrying all they have left in their backpacks. Raynor supports her husband Moth who is terminally ill as they embark on the arduous physical challenges ahead of them; walking in all weathers, facing extreme hunger and wild camping on unforgiving terrain. As they immerse themselves in the transformative power of nature they start to come to terms with their circumstances and grieve for the life they have lost. At the same time, they re-discover themselves and each other as Mott starts to experience the healing power of nature and the kindness of strangers changes their future.
