From Burnout to Balance: a workshop for busy women seeking balance in the chaos.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and exhausted by the pressures of modern life and burnout is sadly all too common when life gets out of balance. Though labelled by the World Health Organisation as a 21st century ‘workplace phenomenon’ we know that burnout can happen to anyone, including career-driven professionals, those in caring roles who are juggling multiple responsibilities, full time students and anyone looking for a more meaningful life. Understanding the causes, symptoms and impact of burnout helps us to take action to prevent it: this workshop gives you practical tools and actionable strategies to help you take control of your wellbeing and find the confidence needed to transform burnout into balance.

Here’s what we’ll do:

  • Get the facts: we’ll uncover the truth about burnout and dispel some common myths by exploring up to date research, UK wide statistics and lived experience.

  • Understand the causes: you’ll learn how to identify the warning signs, symptoms, and long-term effects on your body and mind.

  • Re-define the way forward: burnout isn’t just about long-term stress; it’s about disconnection. Disconnection from our values, passions, and ultimately, ourselves. Through this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to pause, reflect and re-define what you truly want and need.

  • Focus on prevention and recovery: we’ll look at self-care prevention strategies and you’ll develop a personalised anti-burnout plan.

  • Talk it out: through discussion activities and a ‘Conversation Cafe’ break you’ll have the opportunity to recognise the shared experiences and commonalities amongst the group and find a safe space to talk about the factors which contribute to your own burnout.

  • Build a supportive community: you’ll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women and create a strong network to support your ongoing journey to wellbeing.
